Is this You?

Do you feel that there is a significant gap between where you currently are in your life and where you would like to be?

You may be standing at crossroads, with paths going in all directions, but uncertain about which to take or how to move forward.

You may be standing at the end of a road, frustrated by what appears to be a lack of choices.

Are you feeling overwhelmed and struggling to make the necessary shifts or take the required actions?

Is there something that you have always wanted to do, but never get around to, or seem to find the time for?

Are you taking on too much, saying yes too often, and feeling resentful and overloaded?

Do you have a hobby or particular interest or passion, which you would love to turn into a career?

Perhaps you’re a stay at home mom, longing to find the fulfillment of a career or interests beyond your home?

Or working full time, but would love to find a way to spend more time with your children?

It is not so much that we’re afraid of change or so in love with the old ways, but it’s that place in between that we fear. It’s like being between trapezes. It’s Linus when his blanket is in the dryer. There’s nothing to hold on to.Marilyn Ferguson

Woman in the developed world today have more choice and freedom than ever. Yet, with all this comes complexities and challenges. Excessive busyness , demands and expectations frequently leads to our ignoring our instincts, impulses and desires, creating frustration, restlessness and unfulfilled dreams. A call to change can come in many forms. Sometimes it’s a quiet whisper, other times it arrives like a thunderbolt! Yet, we so often do not respond to the call and in doing so miss out on opportunities to change the course of our lives.

Whether you’re working full time, part time or staying at home with your children, it is possible to be loving, successful, responsible and responsive to the needs of others, without losing valuable parts of yourself in the process. By creating a healthy balance between work and play, prioritising and reconnecting with what matters most, we are able to live far more fulfilling, purposeful and enjoyable lives.

Whilst ultimately responsibility lies within ourselves to carve the life we want, we can rarely do this alone and are not meant to. Practical and emotional support and guidance makes it a lot easier to work toward your goal, propel your growth and integrate the life you’re living into the life you want. Breakthroughs and successes are accelerated and the frustration and overwhelm caused by diversions, distractions and obstacles are more easily managed and overcome.
